Vaughans has embarked on another project in the Northern Territory just weeks after completing the Cahill Transport facility. This new venture sees Vaughans team up with Australia’s leading supply-chain provider, Northline, to build a 15,000m² purpose-built distribution centre.
“This is an exciting part of Australia to be building in at the moment. The economy seems sound, the local jurisdiction supportive of business and non-residential investment outside mining appears steady.”
Andrew Noble Director and General Manager of Vaughans said.
The $27m project is located in East Arm, 16kms east of Darwin’s CBD, and boasts in excess of 10,000m² of fully enclosed warehouse space, 500m² of offices and a 385m² workshop.
Construction is underway with completion scheduled for end of August 2015.
