Rand, who are part of the Automotive Holding Group (AHG) specialises in the transportation, storage and distribution of chilled and frozen goods across Australia.
Their facility was no longer fit for purpose and a new refrigerated storage and distribution centre was needed within a tight timeframe.
Vaughan Constructions worked closely with Rand to secure a suitable site on a long-term leaseback arrangement and delivered on schedule 7,000m² of cold storage, 1,145m² of office and amenities, a 1,000m² work shop and a 600m² plant room.
Vaughan undertook full design and construction services and also managed the co-ordination of all services including mechanical, refrigeration, electrical, hydraulic and fire.
