Vaughan Constructions has been building for the K&S Group since 1992. Moving forward into the second decade of business together K&S Group appointed Vaughan to Design and Construct their new facility in Truganina.
As the site was not serviced, Vaughan provided the site infrastructure services such as power, sewer, water, storm water, telecommunications and road upgrades.
The facility comprises of corporate and operational offices, driver’s facilities, a 2,304m2 cross-dock building, 15,000m2 warehouse and a 5,337m2 truck service and maintenance building. An extensive amount, 78,650m2 of pavements surround the facility.
Vaughan also provided innovative design solutions of post tension floors and bitumen container pavements that resulted in the project being completed well within budget and prior to the scheduled completion date.
The project, with its immediate impact on our efficiency, is testament to the close partnership necessary for the successful integration of the complex operations within our business units. Vaughan's experience in providing progressive design solutions delivered significant savings to the overall project. The detailed programming of the construction phase ensured that we received early handover.
