Vaughan Constructions was appointed under a Design and Construct contract to deliver a high-quality cold storage warehouse and office facility for leading wholesale foodservice distributor, Bidfood.
Bidfood is recognised as one of Australia’s leading businesses in wholesale foodservice, fresh produce and meat distribution.
The new 6,762m² facility is located in our Hammond Business Park in Dandenong South, Victoria.
Externally the facility included 4,400m² of heavy-duty concrete hardstand and a 1,400m² bitumen carpark.
The purpose-built facility will allow Bidfood to maximise operational efficiencies and effectively increase their distribution network throughout Australia. Strategically this aligns with their organisational objective of innovation via technology in order to maintain their position as a market leader.
