Vaughan Constructions was appointed by Siemens VDO to develop their three storey 4,908m2 national corporate head quarters and 10,881m2 manufacturing and distribution facility.
The design vision for this facility was conceived within its German Head Quarters.
The European design required Vaughan to facilitate local adaptations in order to meet Australian Standards.
The facility was completed in 49 weeks, ahead of the contracted schedule time of 52 weeks.
This was highly beneficial for the client who operated in the ‘Just-In-Time’ automotive industry.
At the time of completion, this facility was considered by Siemens VDO to be a global benchmark.
As a result, the building would act as a prototype for all Siemens VDO manufacturing construction projects in Australia and around the world.
