The Vaughan Constructions team is thrilled to announce that our Frasers speculative project took home the award for Best Industrial Building at the 2020 Victorian Master Builders Awards.
The project was delivered on behalf of Frasers Property, one of Australia’s leading diversified property groups.
Frasers engaged Vaughan Constructions under a Design and Construct contract in a Land and Build turnkey solution.
This project is located at our own premier Wyndham Industrial Estate in Truganina, Victoria, which is home to many leading global brands.
The facility sits on a 50,000m² site, with a total building area of 31,000m².
Split into two developments, Warehouse A has a total building area of 16,039m², with a 15,624m² warehouse and 415m² of office space. There is also 5,450m² of heavy-duty paving, 2,290m² of light duty paving and 2,950m² of awning.
Warehouse B has a total building area of 14,846m² with a 14,431m² warehouse and 415m² of office space. There is also 4,640m² of heavy-duty paving, 2,290m² of light duty paving and 2,440m² of awning.
In 2019, Vaughan Constructions achieved a Federal Safety Commissioner (FSC) accreditation. The Frasers speculative facility is the project that was analysed and audited in order for us to achieve the FSC accreditation.
The FSC accreditation audit process outlines strict health and safety criteria that a builder needs to meet.
The Frasers speculative project was delivered to the highest standard and with safety at the forefront of all operations, which is typical of all Vaughan Constructions projects.
This project is exceptional in many ways. The high quality and standard to which it was delivered is unparalleled. It was completed well ahead of contract completion date and the site epitomises a ‘safety-first’ environment. The facility also incorporates a range of sustainability initiatives.
Our team is proud to see this project recognised by the prestigious Master Builders Association of Victoria.
